It's okay.
Does not fit tightly on pan. There is a waveyness to the outer rim that does not let it sit evenly. I have to put weight on it to make it fit somewhat better. Had a hard time finding this size, so I will make due.
Nice lid, though a bit thin
The dome height is good, the diameter is perfect for my 12.5" iron skillet (actually the lid is 12 and 9/16 inches - 1/16 larger than 12.5 which is a good thing). The metal is thin and bendable by hand, however. Mine arrived with a pretty bad bend in the outer lip. I was able to flatten it back down with my bare hands rather easily though, so it's still useable. Be aware that depending on the way it's packaged, it may not arrive in good shape.
Strong and LARGE
I am so happy to have found this - and at this price! Wow! I was looking for one specifically large enough to work on several skillets, and this filled the bill perfectly. NorPro makes a good line, and this is no exception - it is NOT flimsy, it does not "quake" or twist, and is strong/thick enough to stand on edge for storage. DEFINITE KEEPER!
