Johnson-Rose 3.5 Quart Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with Lid

Heavy Pot Perfect for Candy Making and Much More
This will be brief because on the two quart sauce pan product page, I wrote a detailed review describing the particular attributes of the Johnson and Rose stainless steel pots. So, rather than wasting your time reading the same thing, I refer you to that product page for more general characteristics of the brand. Before buying, I already owned a five year old set of a well-known brand of stainless cookware. It was still serviceable, but I wanted to fill in areas where I had nothing or needed something better. So, the Johnson and Rose pieces were purchased one at a time with a particular purpose in mind. After ordering and using the first pan, I was so pleased I bought two more sizes and have more on my list.

For the last twelve months that I've owned the pan, it, like my two quart pan, is constantly in use. I bought this particular pot primarily for use in candy making. It is easy to burn candy syrups in a thin pan because cooking at high heat for an extended period of time...

Great sauce pan.
This pan is awesome. Nice and thick and very durable. Great heat distribution and heat maintenance, no hot spots or fluxuations. I am a chef and I use this pan all the time.

made in China
which is disappointing. I compared to my 4 qt all clad sauce pan and it is definitely not the same quality. I bought at bargain price and planned to use for cooking rice only. I have used it for more than that as there is easy clean up and totally flat, induction type bottom on this pan.
