I'm getting rid
Of my pots! This is the only way to go. Steams to perfection.....one dish meal in 5min! Three layers i.e. spinach,yellow squash, shrimp dressed with shoyu sauce, voila !
This thing really is amazing -- and makes healthy eating so much easier!
I picked this Ogya basket up a few days ago when I was snooping around a local cooking shop with a friend. They had a display of Lekue items, and the microwave omelet maker first caught my eye since my husband loves omelets. When I went to buy the omelet maker and also the Minute Cake set (for making microwave mug cakes), the gal mentioned the steamer basket. I ended up buying this larger size since it's perfect for two people!
I try not to use my microwave too much, but this really has made it so much easier to steam fresh veggies. When I purchased this, in fact, the sales associate sold it to me as a vegetable steamer, but it really is so much more -- it's an actual cooking pot! What is really amazing about this thing is that you can also use it to make entire meals -- like pasta and rice.

Loving It
I have few other Lekue silicone products already, but they are not as deep as this one. As soon as I saw this, I ordered it. This is definitely a one-pot cooking/serving vessel. I reconstitute dry pasta, make seafood broth, cook dumplings, and eat from here. I particularly like this brand's platinum silicone: soft, subtle appealing color, and unique design.
