One piece / no seam construction in 7 layers.. for even / rapid heat conduction..and, easy / sanitary cleaning. The outer stainless steel layers , make this pan also perfect for induction cook tops..due to a unique quality of the steel used. The stainless steel outer layer is finished with a glistening sheen. This is my second pan from the line.. and I intend to replace all my kitchen pots and pans as needed, with more from this stunning and highest quality line from France. I am amazed to find how quickly they heat up.. yet, nothing burns on the bottom of my saucepan, from this line. These are the best pans I have ever owned, they will be my last.. as they will last forever. I shopped around, compared prices and found the amazon price and selection to be the best I could discover.
