Le Creuset 20-Ounce Stoneare Bean Pot, Mini, Soleil

Love the size and it's perfect for honey!
I was hunting for a honey jar but the lids all had a hole to hold the honey dipper. This was an issue for us since we live on a farm and we didn't want bugs to get inside. I had read a post for another mini bean pot and how it was used for honey and I became excited. I showed the pot to my husband and he liked it because of the tight-fitting lid. It is similar in size (but holds 4 more ounces) to the honey pot, but without the hole in the lid. Even if the honey gets crystalized, all I have to do is pop it into the microwave because it is microwavable. We love it and it fits well with the other Le Creuset pieces in the kitchen. The new bright yellow is perfect and I chose it because it reminds me of honey bees. Of course the mini bean pot is great for other things as well, as described. We just happen to love it because we now have a place to store our honey without worrying about any bugs getting into the jar. it also looks great on the counter or on the table and we no...

Johnson-Rose 16-1/4-Inch-by-11-Inch Stainless Steel Baking Pan

The stainless-steel roasting pan does the job well!
In recent years, I have been trying to cut down on using aluminum-foil (for health concerns) plus aluminum pots and pans, though I had previously used them for decades. In order to avoid covering the food- filled pan with aluminum foil, and before putting it into the oven to roast its contents, I place an inverted stainless-steel roasting pan right over the bottom one, where it remains until I am ready to remove the pan filled with cooked food from the oven. I roast chicken and bake potatoes in this way as well. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ADD AT LEAST AN INCH OF WATER TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN WHICH IS FILLED WITH FOOD TO COOK, SO THAT IT DOES NOT DRY OUT AND BURN, and roast/bake the food in this way in an oven heated to 350F degrees. Enjoy in Good Health!

Like tin foil
This pan is only slightly heavier than a tinfoil pan and arrived with the same kind of dings and gouges tinfoil is prone to. I am surprised this pan meets minimum Amazon standards.

I assumed more than I should have.
This is a thin stamped out pan with folded edges and visible press marks, perhaps to be expected in a cheap baking pan. I expected rolled edges, more weight, more attention to cosmetic detail. My bad. The phrase "expensive disposable" comes to mind. At half the price I wouldn't complain.

Pasta Boat

Same as Pasta N More
The Pasta Boat is the Pasta N More that was sold a few years back....except its red. :D And like the Pasta N More, it works in exactly the same way. I know there have been mixed reviews for this style of pasta cooker but I have the Pasta N More and I use it exclusively for pasta now (no more boiling water on the stovetop)and the pasta comes out perfect every time.

Tip: Start out by putting hot water in the container, not cold. The microwave has to take time to heat up the water, otherwise, and that takes away from the cooking time. Doesn't have to be scalding hot, but hot. I cook about 3/4 of a box of spaghetti and fill the container with water to the #4 line and cook for 17 minutes. PERFECT! Don't have to think about it....don't have to test it. I did test it the first 2 times I used the unit but I don't test it anymore....I know it will come out just right. And it doesn't stick together, either. The drainer top is terrific and I serve the spaghetti right in the...

Works great!
I got a pasta boat after looking at them in the store over and over again. Turns out it works great! No more lugging a huge pot of water from the sink to the stove. No more boil-overs. Even cooks whole wheat pasta perfectly! It's easy and it's great if you're only cooking for one or two. So much less clean up and mess. I was seriously surprised at how well it works. Great item!

Pasta Boat
I bought this to steam rather than cook pasta. This is the best steamer for ease of use and clean up that I have used.

Johnson-Rose 3.5 Quart Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with Lid

Heavy Pot Perfect for Candy Making and Much More
This will be brief because on the two quart sauce pan product page, I wrote a detailed review describing the particular attributes of the Johnson and Rose stainless steel pots. So, rather than wasting your time reading the same thing, I refer you to that product page for more general characteristics of the brand. Before buying, I already owned a five year old set of a well-known brand of stainless cookware. It was still serviceable, but I wanted to fill in areas where I had nothing or needed something better. So, the Johnson and Rose pieces were purchased one at a time with a particular purpose in mind. After ordering and using the first pan, I was so pleased I bought two more sizes and have more on my list.

For the last twelve months that I've owned the pan, it, like my two quart pan, is constantly in use. I bought this particular pot primarily for use in candy making. It is easy to burn candy syrups in a thin pan because cooking at high heat for an extended period of time...

Great sauce pan.
This pan is awesome. Nice and thick and very durable. Great heat distribution and heat maintenance, no hot spots or fluxuations. I am a chef and I use this pan all the time.

made in China
which is disappointing. I compared to my 4 qt all clad sauce pan and it is definitely not the same quality. I bought at bargain price and planned to use for cooking rice only. I have used it for more than that as there is easy clean up and totally flat, induction type bottom on this pan.

Magefesa Delicia 8-Inch Non Stick Stainless Steel Fry Pan

Changed design from previous purchase.
We have a bed and breakfast, so good quality cooking tools is very important to us. We bought this pan last year, only one because that is all they had at the time. We liked it so much for making our omelets that we decided to replace our other pans with two more if this one. Sadly, when we received these, and have since used them, we were very disappointed with their change in quality. The metal is thinner and the handle is different. The non- stick surface is different as well. They are a much lower grade of product then before.

Husband is happy
My husband wanted a new non-stick skillet for eggs. After reviewing several, I decided onthe Magefesa. I have not been disappointent and neither has he!

10" fry Pan
I cook mostly on a INDUCTION stove and have tried a couple of Stainless Steal non stick fry pans and had a hard time getting even cooking. I tried the 10" Magefesa Pan and am delighted. It is made in Spain and has that European quality.

Tramontina Gourmet Hard Anodized 5.5 qt. Covered Deep Saute Pan

Jimbo
I own other Tramontina products and heavily depend on the quality and dependability of this brand. I have owned other lesser quality products and paid premium price for them in the past. Tramontina is the real deal. You do get more than what you pay for with these products. Properly maintained they will most likely last you a life time. This is my brand of choice ! You can't go wrong...

Another Good Tramontina Product
This is our 4th Tramontina product. Three are skillets of varying size and all well worth the money. I did warp the bottom of one by overheating it. My fault.

This 5.5 qt. was purchased at Costco. It came with the clear lid and a third piece that is a splash screen. Paid $30, not 70 or more.

WMF Premium One 9-1/2-Quart Stock Pot with Lid

Nice Cookware but handles get HOT
I researched this style of WMF cookware and found a video showing a man boiling water for spaghetti and he took the pot off the stove without using any oven mits. The handles are supposed to be cool touch technology with patent pending. I tried the same experiment when first received and after bringing the water to a boil...I could not touch the handles with bare hands as they were extremely hot. I don't think the handles could possibly be defective so did not test the other pans I purchased. This cookware is very well made and is quite beautiful. If you are looking for cookware and don't require handles that stay cool these are very nice pots. Amazon was great in sending a return label.

16 inch Carbon Steel Wok w/ Helper Handle (round bottom) USA made

Fast Shipping - Excellent Product
I had looked at several woks including those at a local Asian supermarket and the price and quality of this wok far surpassed what I could have gotten here. I purchase this with lid, ring and a couple of other items. All were shipped fast and the instructions for seasoning were clear and precise. I have owned two woks over my lifetime and this one is by far the best.

WOK this way!
The WOK is well built and huge which was too large for my stovetop so I bought the smaller version. The WOK Shop suggests the following: Sizing recommendations: 12" for up to 5 people, 14" for 6--12 people, and 16" for over 12 people. Must be seasoned.
Since I'm not feeding a football team the 14" should suit my needs just fine.

G. Clark
Dayton

Good size wok
Had a smaller wok that just was not large enough. This holds plenty and food doesn't spill out the sides when cooking. It's non-stick and the long handle is useful. Only issue is you need a large sink to clean it.

Update International SDM-10/SS Stainless Steel Medium Double Mesh Wooden Handle Strainer, 10-1/4-Inch

You'd have to really strain to get a better strainer than this.
The Update International SDM-10/SS Stainless Steel Medium Double Mesh Wooden Strainer is a big, stainless-steel strainer that seems well-made enough to last a lifetime. It's BIG. You can easily drain a standard box of pasta, or dry a head of lettuce in it. The helper handle is great for two-hand operation and also lets you suspend your sieve over a pot, bowl or 5 gallon bucket. Two layers of medium mesh make it good for rinsing rice or lentils, but may be a bit too wide for fine things like quinoa (get a fine or double fine strainer for that). FYI the grades of strainer from largest holes to smallest holes are: Coarse, double coarse, medium, double medium, fine, double fine, very fine. (They vary a bit from manufacturer to manufacturer. If you need precision, you need to get a "test sieve" that has holes of a calibrated size.)

Strainer
The quality of this strainer is fantastic!! It is just what I was looking for. Fits over the sink so you can drain hot foods safely. Great price, great value!

Black & Decker HS2776 Double-Decker Flavor-Scenter Steamer Deluxe Food Steamer

This Steamer is a Must-Have in my Kitchen
I've tried many different types of Electric Food Steamers and this one is, by far, the best!

Some are impossible to keep clean...like the Oster steamer--mold-type black particles collect in the "water window" area... The Black & Decker Model is "simply perfect". When you lift out the steamer baskets you just add water to whatever level is necessary...cleaning is so easy! Just pour out the water after you're done and rinse out the unit and let it dry.

I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this one keeps me satisfied!

I found the recipe guide online
I got the steamer as a gift and it is the best gift I have received in years. I was also puzzled I didn't get any guides to help with the cook times. But I found out where I could get it online. Here's the link

[...]

Best Kitchen tool I ever purchased
This steamer is a dream come true. I don't ever rave about products, but it has already saved me so much money and helped me lose 15 pounds in less than two months. My boyfriend and I hate to cook and aren't good at it, either. We would go out to eat 3 maybe four times a week due to our busy schedules and lack of desire or skill. Now we go out once a week and buy fresh produce, meat, potatoes, and rice. All it takes is chopping up the food, putting it in there, turning the dial. There is a seasoning tray that allows the food to be penetrated with flavor. You can cook more than two things in it also, I do four course meals using half a basket for one item and half for another. Its extremely easy to clean. My only caution is to lift the lid after the timer goes off and lift away from the baskets. I got burned by this thing due to my own stupidity and believe me - steam burns HURT!!!

Some items take a little longer to steam than the time menu indicated on the back...

Stansport 8 3/4 Inch Enamel Fry Pan, Royal Blue

Thin metal
The metal of this pan is very thin and so it doesn't heat evenly. Areas of the pan that get dry will burn the food residue very quickly. It's okay if you keep it full, but don't try to scramble eggs.

Even though the handle isn't insulated, it can be touched without a pot holder.

Frying Pan
All purpose, easy to clean and free of chemical liners. Right size for one to two people.

Chantal Copper Fusion 8-Inch Fry Pan, Onyx

great pans but like all cookware has limitations
I have been cooking with calphalon for the past 25 years, mostly without teflon but some with. I decided to switch to nonreactive and nonteflon cookware and a friend recommended the Chantal Copper Fusion and I love it. I got the big saute pan for my birthday and just got a set of pots for Christmas so lots of my old cookware is going to the goodwill.

As far as eggs sticking, I've found unless you're willing to use teflon an egg is going to stick to a pan. There is one other option for eggs and that is a well seasoned old cast iron skillet. And it has to be an old vintage one, not a new rough one made in China out of old engine blocks melted down or whatever they're making them from. One reviewer complained that a searing a steak in the Chantal didn't work. Get a cast iron skillet for for that too and you will be a happy cook.

I find with the Chantal I don't have to turn the heat up as much. I cooked risotto tonight and it cooked like a dream. Previously I had a...

Great skillet, if you know how to clean it!
Several months back, I bought the Chantal 11.5" Copper Fusion chef's pan, which is a skillet with two handles and glass lid and love it. I noted from other reviews that folks were complaining of having a hard time keeping the shiny black finish on the inside of their pans and food sticking. I have had some mild discoloration or graying, but when this occurs, I use ceramic glass top stove cleaner after washing the pan, and the film disappears and returns to its original black shiny look. By following the directions of using only medium heat or lower and using cooking spray/oil before heating the pan, you really minimize the sticking.

I've had the Titanium coated skillets, and they work great for awhile, but eventually the coating starts to flake off. My last one supposedly had a lifetime guarantee, but it too, starting flaking after several years and was very heavy. I love this skillet and use it daily.

Poor performance for the price
1. The "stick resistant" enamel is just the opposite. I've tried preheating the pan with a thin layer of oil and a more liberal coating. I've tried setting the heat to medium and low medium (the olive oil never smokes, and the meat is only lightly to moderately sizzling). No matter how careful I am, the meat always sticks to some extent. It seems a bit worse than regular, good-quality stainless steel to me. The claim to being "one of the most stick resistent" non-teflon surfaces is simply false. It's nothing special in that regard.

2. Compounding the false claim of stick resistance is the difficulty in cleaning the pan. I often cook a fillet mignon by searing it on both sides and putting it in the oven for about 8 minutes at 350F. I coat the pan lightly with olive oil at medium heat (4 on an electric burner that goes up to 8), preheating for a minute (as per instructions by Chantal). Neither the stovetop or oven are extremely hot, but the inside of the pan always retains a...

Emile Henry Flame Top 1.9-Quart Round Oven, Black

LOVE this pot!
I bought this for making "Glorious One Pot Meals" but have used it for so much more. I love the fact that you can put it directly into the oven or microwave from the refrig or freezer. The cast iron ones can't be used in the microwave. This pot cleans up beautifully too...no stick! It's expensive, but definitely is a keeper! It won't end up on your garage sale table EVER!

These ceramic pots are awesome
They conduct heat really well and keep food warm even after turning the pot off. I would highly recommend!!

Beautiful and Functional
I have two of the Emile Henry pieces, small stew pot and braiser - bought on Amazon. The stewpot cleaned up perfectly after a bad burn. The braiser is great and so much lighter than my many cast iron enamel pots. I find I reach for these before other expensive pots. All things considered (including microwave ability), I'm buying another Henry - the large 7 qt. in green!

Lodge Original Finish Cast Iron Eight-Section Cornbread Skillet

Season, preheat, spray and this pan will deliver!
I have used this pan many times and have even baked cornbread on the grill and have never had a problem with it. The cornbread is browned just right and comes right out of the pan. In addition to seasoning the pan, I preheat the pan for about 15 minutes, then spray it with Pam before dumping in the batter. I like to bake cornbread for stuffing in this pan because the smaller sections get more browning than would be the case in an undivided skillet. I have a growing collection of Lodge cast iron products and I have never been disappointed in the quality and cooking results. Cast iron does require more care but it also holds the temperature better than any other type of cooking vessel. Many of my pans are now so well seasoned that they are virtually non-stick and you can use them on the stove, in the oven, on the grill or over an open fire. I wouldn't trade my Lodge set for the best set of Calphalon available!

pan won't season
I love cast iron cookware, but this pan won't work for me. I seasoned it as instructed but the muffins just wouldn't come out cleanly. Trying to clean it afterwards was a nightmare. I couldn't get the stuck bits out of the corners.

pre-cut cornbread
My daughter loves cornbread, but evertime I made it she would end up eating crumbs because she could not cut it well. This is really easy for her to get her desired piece from. Also looks nice when presented, everyone has said they look cuuuuute. I have thanked the person who gave me this for christmas many times.

Krampouz Tibos Crepe Machine 110v 13" Griddle

Just bought our second one
We have a crepe cart and catering business using commercial propane griddles. This year we had a need to do indoor events as well. There are almost no commercial grills that run on 100V, and most private homes and event facilities do not have 220V power just sitting around in the living rooms or meeting areas. Afgter looking at lots of grills (and of course checking out the reviews and prices here) We purchased (at another site) one of these grills in December, now as the season is picking up we bought our second one.

They make good crepes. We use our own tools, a round dowel spreader instead of the flat trowel, but lots of people use those flat ones. The flat spatula seems a little short, but that may be because I'm used to the 15" used with our bigger outdoor grills.

The nonstick is not that great, so we always use a bit of spray canola oil before each crepe.

We use it at the #2 setting, no idea why the scale goes so high, I think you would have...

Love the Krampouz Tibos crepe machine!
After a trip to Paris in the fall, we came home wanting a great egg, ham and chese crepe- and we have been able to reproduce that with this machine. It has a good non-stick cooking surface, requiring little or no butter to produce a perfect crepe, and the temperature settings makes it easy to adjust the heat up or down as needed. I was not able to master the black plastic measurement device, instead switching to a laddle and the spreader included in the package. We have also used this to reheat leftover pizza- perfectly! Looking forward to using it to make tortillas= I'm guessing this will be quite successful, too.

Krampouz Tibos Crepe Machine 110v 13" Griddle
We love the crepe maker! Very easy to use and makes good crepes consistently. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Berndes SignoCast Classic 11-Inch Skillet

So, Replace the Handle's Screw!
I'm probably addicted to the entire Berndes SignoCast Classic line of cookware. Every time I see a really great deal on a piece, I grab it. There simply is no better non-stick cookware! The vast majority of my cookware is quality 18/10 stainless, including several pieces of All Clad. Generally, I prefer to cook without non-stick, because I don't care for the way meats brown in non-stick and, with some foods, that I know will adhere to the pan, I want to be able to clean with an abrasive pad. Yet, for eggs, pancakes, crepes, and other egg based preparations, I prefer a non-stick surface.

When I received my first piece of Berndes SignoCast Classic, I noticed the screw, holding the handle was slightly loose. To be certain it didn't have stripped threads, I removed it and, upon observation, thought it might be a bit short. I replaced it with a screw, one-eighth inch longer. I really don't think it was necessary, but in almost two years, it's not loosened a bit.

I've...

Not worth the $
A perfectly fine frying pan that has a major flaw -- the handle. It falls off because it's improperly attached with a short screw. Not worth it.

Best pan ever
Bought one of these pans many years ago for my wife and she absolutely lovves it. Says it is the best all around stove top pan she has ever used. Unfortunately, the coating became damaged (probably our own fault) and so I bought her a replacement. We will take extra care that we follow the care instructions carefully with this new pan.

Kitchen Classics 188-549LIB 12-Inch Heavy Gauge Aluminum Non-Stick Saute Pan

Perfect size, excellent quality, and great price!
I purchased this 12-inch Saute, the 8-inch Saute and the 3 Qt Saucepan from the Kitchen Classics cookware line. After doing extensive research online and in-stores, I decided to try my luck with these pans. I am amazed with the look, feel and performance of these products - and at these prices!
The saute pans feel "heavy" for their size, but not in a bad way at all. They are very thick-walled aluminum and stainless steel construction, which helps evenly distribute and control the heat so my food doesn't burn.
I can tell that the Teflon nonstick coating is very durable and has been extremely effective every time I've used it. No need for any spray at all, so my cooking is healthier too.
I love the feel of the handles - they have a bit of a rubberized grip, but with a soft touch. The rivets are very strong and high-quality, one of the features I really wanted in my new cookware.
What sets this cookware apart from competitors of similar quality is the PRICE...

Stansport Cast Iron 20 Quart Dutch Oven

Stansport Cast Iron 20 Quart Dutch Oven
This item came in the original box packed inside another larger box with paper wadded up for packing. The dutch oven was undamaged. This was bought thru the Amazon Warehouse for 27.99 with free shipping. I was afraid of lid fit etc. at this price but took a chance on it. I was really surprised at the extra packing after reading some of the other reviews. The lid has an excellent fit and the dutch oven had nothing wrong with it. The only thing I could find wrong with it was the lid had "Tansport" spelled on it instead of Stansport. The oven cleaned up with more then a little elbow grease and I have gone thru 2 sessions of seasoning it in a 450 degree oven. It is really starting to look good. Well go camping next week and put it to use.

Don't get in a hurry

Ceramic Marble Coated Cast Aluminium Non Stick Wok 34 cm (13 1/2 inches)

Very Big Wok
This is intended to replace a teflon coated wok that I've had for many years. I like the marble coating as an alternative. This is a very large Wok. I have only used it a couple of times so far and it seems to not get quite as hot as some woks which could be a pro or con depending on the cook. Probably not the best traditional wok, but a very good pan for all in one pot for 4-6 people.

so far so great
I have had this pot for a month and so far I am in love. You don't even have to use oil for your cooked food to slide around. So far no pealing of the surface. When the pot cools I give a quick brush with soap but really there is barely any cleanup. I have to say, I thought this pot would be utilitarian looking from the photo, but actually it is very handsome. I leave it on my stove and guests also think it is good looking. Its pretty lightweight too, considering the size. Not feather weight, but I can lift it easily enough with one hand on the handle, tip the pot over a plate, and slide the cooked food off with just a little push from the spatula. The bottom of the pot has a fairly wide flat area for a wok. That's ok with me... I actually use it to fry a couple large chicken legs in it, or a couple pieces of french toast.

Great Product
Best non stick WOK I have ever used. Perfect on a electric range and easy to clean. I use bamboo utensils to avoid scratching.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE BASICS - STAINLESS STEEL 12 INCH 5 QUART DEEP DISH FRYING PAN

Disappointed
Since this was on sale for a really low price I bought two, one for me and one for my mom. This pan is BIG! It looks very nice and I really liked the glass cover. So I decided to try it out last night. This pan definitely allowed a lot more space than my 10" Cuisinart, which was nice because I could mix without worrying about stuff falling out of the pan. So I transfer the pan to the table and I notice that the area where the long handle is located is a bit flimsy. In other words the pan is not thick and sturdy enough so you can actually see it bend in a bit when you move the handle.

I also noticed that a bit of water collects inside the metal rim around the glass of the cover so I dig the dish towel into the area to try and dry it as much a possible. These two things bother me enough that I will be returning it. I doubt that this will bother my mom, heck, she actually uses pans that are warped and about 60 years old (no kidding!) As for me, I guess I'll have to get...

Awful....
I got this pan after my last one scratched up to the point where everything started sticking to it. (Hubby always used metal utensils) On the very first use, I noticed everything stuck to it as well. And as Cat Mom states, the handle is flimsy. Good thing I got this on sale, but even at $40 it was overpriced. I ended up paying a bit more and bought an Anolon Advanced Bronze pan. MUCH better! Save yourself the time and the money on this one and keep looking.

Substitute item at Walmart.
This review is NOT for this cooker, but for a MAINSTAYS 5 quart stainless steel Jumbo Cooker (fry pan) I bought at Walmart - about $5 cheaper.

Although the handle-to-pan riveting is not going to last forever, the front-side handle assists in bearing half the load, and it's cheap enough to replace when the rivets give way. The Walmart MAINSTAYS version performs extremely well, and with a vent-hole in the glass lid, there's very little water accumulation in the lid trough. It cooks quite well, and heat seems to distribute evenly.

So far, I've used it to cook spaghetti sauce with meatballs and sausage, several caseroles, and even mac & cheese. It cleans up fairly easily, and I've never had trouble with cooked-on stubborn messes.

Get the MAINSTAYS version at Walmart!

Downgraded to 3 stars for flimsy rivets.

Technique 6.5 Qt Oval Voice Guided Pressure Cooker W/recipe Book (copper)

Quality issues- BEWARE!
I bought this item from a home shopping channel as well, and when the unit arrived, the 'sticker' (that's the cover for the controls) was half peeled up. I never could get it to stick down. As I was using this cooker, I see the non-stick finish scratches off really easily; just lining up the lid, to lock it down, damages the finish at the top. A friend of mine, who bought the same unit, had to return it because the handle broke off the first time she used it. The voice is terrible- I never could tell what it was saying, and always turned it off. I have discovered that I LOVE pressure cooking, and came on Amazon to find another one- but I would NOT recommend this one, to anybody! The reviews posted on the home shopping channel's site (starts with a Q) are terrible, as well.

I LOVE this thing!!!
I absolutely LOVE this pressure cooker. I agree with the other reviews that the voice function is annoying. I got this for a Christmas present. I had never used a pressure cooker before. Since I received this one I use it 3-4 times a week and have yet to have a bad experience or something not come out right (knock on wood). I hope it does not die like someone else said theirs did.

Happy With It
I have had this pressure cooker for about 10 months and love it. I didn't read the reviews until after I had purchased it and I am a bit scared of it stopping, but, so far so good. The only challenge I have is locking the lid in place. You have to line it up perfectly in order for it to fit. I love the recipe book, "Cooking Under Pressure" that you can buy. Wonderful recipes and some of them our new favorites. Sorry others had problems with their cooker, but mine is holding up and I use it regularly.

Clipper 315-00014 1.5-Quart Pantry Chef Sauce Pan with Lid, Red

Well-made and convenient
This pot replaced one I received 38 years ago. It is light weight, but very well made. The non-stick surface appears to be long lasting, and the rubber handles are great. It's the perfect size for a can of vegetables or soup.

Great Pot!
I love this pot. It has the right weight and foods cooks evenly in it. I recommend this pot to others interested in buying a great pot.

Demeyere 6-Quart Stainless Steel Induction Tea Kettle

Made In Belgium
I own the 4.5Q model. I love the size for easy handling. You should know that this product is made in Belgium and NOT in China! It was the selling point for me, but I had to make phone calls to find that out.
It does not have a whistle and I really hoped that it would for the price. It has a heavy duty bottom, so I am hoping that will make up for the lack of a whistle ;^)
I have now owned this for a year and have been very pleased with its quality... I even keep water in it 24/7.

(Amazon appears to also have the best prices around)

Everything that I had hope for.
I wanted something close to what my mother had, and this is it, nice heavy and well put togather. this kettle will last alife time.

heirloom quality tea kettle
Although this tea kettle is a bit larger than I had envisioned, it is of superior quality...no seams in the stainless bottom, the spout pours easily and the handle does not get hot. It is nice to have large amounts of boiling water for certain needs in cooking. This kettle should last for several generations to come. It work very well on my induction cooktop, which the main reason I purchased it.

Wilton 6-Cavity Mini Heart Pan

Kids Love This Pan
Wilton makes quality products which are used by professional and home bakers. Kids love using this 6-Cavity Aluminum Mini Heart Muffin Pan. They can choose different colored sprinkles to decorate the tops of the heart cakes. Since these pans are not nonstick, I find it best to grease them with vegetable shortening and then dust them with flour. Then I fill each cavity with spoonfuls of batter until the cavity is two-thirds full. You may have to watch the baking time when you use this pan for the first time because these small cakes tend to cook quickly--faster than the time recommended for cupcakes.

One cake mix recipe makes 24 heart-shaped small cakes, so I would recommend buying two pans to save time.

wilton is great
I own them and purchased again for a gift because I have enjoyed using them so much. Quality is what I expected.

Heart Pan
I used it to make brownies - it's time consuming to make individual brownies - but they were so cute, it was worth it!

Ceramic Marble Coated Cast Aluminium Non Stick Wok 32 cm (12.6 inches)

Very Useful, Easy to Clean, Better than Teflon Coatings
This pan is large enough to sauté several cups of vegetables at one time. It's surface is very slick and nothing sticks to it. You have to watch your heat settings and keep the veggies moving so you don't burn them. It's a bit different than using teflon-coated pans but I do love it. Clean-up is unbelievably easy! I've only had the pan a few days and used it once so far to crisp some sweet potato slices into chips with a little coconut oil and it worked great. Its marble surface is SO slick I had to work to keep the slices from sticking to one another because they wouldn't stick to the pan at ALL.

I have been using pans this size with teflon coating for some years for all my sautéing and frying but the teflon wears down and gets nicks in it after a while, making it necessary to just throw out the damaged pan for health reasons. I think this marble coating is a healthier alternative and I anticipate it will likely wear longer and better with proper care...

Marble Wok
This is a great product that cleans up very easy. It has even heat and requires a lower temperature setting than most pans. I also bought the similar fry pan.

To go where Teflon never ever went!
Excellent cooking surface. One of the surprises of this cookware is that it seems to require less heat than comparable pans.

Swiss Diamond Induction Nonstick Fry Pan - 11"

Wonderful pan
I have owned two of these pans for just over a year. Use them almost daily. High quality interior and exterior. I hand wash immediately after use. Bought them for my induction cooktop in another state. Now in another house where I use them on electric cooktop. I bought the glass cover as well. Absolutely tremendous pans. By the way, I do not use oils or grease or Pan - just water or broth. I have learned to let ingredients get to "dry" and then add some water gives the same brown color and flavor as using oil, without the calories and greasy feel to foods. I highly recommend this pan

Perfect Non-Stick for Induction!
My Sister in law turned me on to the Swiss Diamond non-stick fry pan last fall. And then I recently purchased an induction range so I had to overhaul my cookware. Amazon is the only one to carry the induction version of the Swiss Diamond pan. It's AMAZING. I would buy it 10 times over and recommend to anyone who is looking for a durable non-stick. The non-stick will not flake off over time, which means that you buy it once not once a year. Very Lightweight. Very conductive so I barely cook on high heat.

Amazing quality!
My husband and I bought this frying pan because we do a lot of cooking and go through the cheap ones in just a few short weeks. Even the more expensive pans usually start to lose their non-stick coating in a month or so. We were a little apprehensive about spending so much money on one frying pan, but it is well worth the cost. I highly recommend these pans for anyone who does a lot of cooking and gets tired of replacing their cheaper pans.

Casa Moda Smokeless Tabletop Grill with Ceramic Tray

The price sizzles and so does the meat!
At less than six bucks, and free delivery I couldn't pass it up. I tested it out on some thin strips of steak and it cooked them up wonderfully. I can think of only a few uses for this, but at the price I figure that I could buy a few and have a "make your own fajita" party or something and then throw them away if they aren't worth storing.

The overall manufacturing seems good, though I would have expected/hoped that the grilling surface was a little more substantial (cast iron) rather than pie-tin-thin.

I LOVE THIS GRILLER
i saw this Casa Moda Smokeless Tabletop Grill with Ceramic Tray at linden 'n things and was gonna purchase it at $29.99 and thank goodness we didn't ... We brought this Casa Moda Smokeless Tabletop Grill with Ceramic Tray at a GREAT bargain price at amazon ... we use it all the time, i make Korea BBQ sliced meat, shrimp, vegi, etc. etc. with it and it is GREAT !!! we enjoy it alot and can grill the meat and cook it as we eat ... it works great on sliced meat such as beef, pork, chicken ... cooking the meat is pretty quick as long as you DON'T put thick slices on the grill ... for those of you who like Korea BBQ, like us, this is a great addition to your tabletop applicances ...

So much fun for entertaining!
Whenever my ex and I had guests over, we'd break this out and serve shrimp and other meats with various seasonings. Everyone had a blast, and it's a great way to spend time with your guests instead of running back and forth to the kitchen. Just put it on the coffee table (don't worry, the bottom doesn't get hot), crack open a few beers, and let your guests have fun cooking their own food! When I moved to my own place, I ran out and bought two more of these babies!

Update International SFC-12 SuperSteel Induction ready Stainless Steel Fry Pans with Helper Handle, Excalibur Coated, 12-3/4-Inch

Solid pan. Works really well.
My wife and I both enjoy cooking. We bought the standard department store stainless set when we got married, then we bought calphalon, and piece by piece, we're working up to AllClad (we've been married over 25 years). However, non-stick pans tend to take a beating over time and eventually, most of them start to stick. This pan didn't break the bank, it cooks evenly on both regular electric stoves and smoothtops and has a helper handle. It works well enough that after I bought this one, I bought a slightly smaller version by Update International for smaller jobs, like small sautes and Sunday morning breakfasts. I got them fairly cheap at my local restaurant store. It takes a few minutes for the base to heat, but it then holds the heat like you would expect from a decent pan.

I've been pleased enough with Update's cookware that I'm buying a small set of pots and pans to take with us to the vacation house we rent each year in New England. I'll be able to get the...

Camp Chef Non-Stick Aluminum Griddle - For Hearty Meals in the Wilderness

Griddle did not fit stove
I bought this griddle thinking it would fit the Camp Chef Everest stove like they show. come to find out it's 1" to short.
Since its short it will not sit flat on the stove.

Disappointed!
Specs say that it is Mountain Series compatible, but it does NOT fit the Mountain Series Everest. Griddle will not lie flat on grates above burner and thus will not heat evenly. This should have been made more clear in product description!

Pain in the butt
does not fit the mountain series stoves like it claimed. Its to small so one side is higher then the other and moves around while you cook. Not fun. Bad product stay away!!!

Tramontina 3pk Saute Pan Set 8, 10, 12 In

Great Pan Set!
I happened to be cruising through Amazon and noticed they are offering the same set of pans that I purchased from Costco for about $26. I had to replace an old set of pans that had burnt food stuck on them that would not come off. I have been using my new pans for about a month and they are holding up. All I have to do is wipe the pans out with a cloth and then clean them. I was watching the Food Network a couple of years ago and saw a procedure that will make the non stick coating last longer. First, wash and dry the pans. Second, take some oil (I used olive oil)and rub it into the pans to seal them. Third, let them sit for about an hour before using. I do a lot of pan frying and have already burned some food. However, this was no problem because all I had to do is wipe the remaining food out and then wash the pans. This had made my life so much more easier. Since I don't have coated utensils, I have to use what I have. It has held up against forks, thongs and knives with no...

Best Pan Set
I too found this set at Costco and was only able to get one set. I've been looking for more as gifts and ran across them on Amazon. Follow the care and use directions and you'll have no problems. I've had them for about 90 days and they still look brand new. I do store them with separation pads to protect the Teflon finish - and keep them from getting scratched. Would highly recommend these for any new cook and even those more experienced. They make a wonderful gift! I've had other more expensive brands over the years, but none can compare with this set. In fact, I purchased a spare set for me to have on hand, to use years down the road when I've worn these out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I use them all the time
I find them easy to cook with. Easy to clean. Light weight.. Nothing sticks.
Love them. I don't use my old ones much anymore.

Flat Cast Iron Frying Pan / Pancake Griddle / Skillet

Very Nice Pan!
Great little pan, perfect size; holds/makes enough yet easy to clean. Well made, solid yet light. I did not season it before I used it, it appeared well seasoned and was! I really like this pan. You can make breakfast, pancakes, crepes, etc. Buy it!

Surface too rough for me
Eggs and pancakes stuck to the pan surface. The rough surface is okay for bacon if one does not mind splattering grease. However, that was just a test as I don't eat bacon and I may have cooked the bacon wrong. When I do cook bacon for others, I use my George Forman appliance and the bacon comes out perfect every time. But eggs stuck to the pan until I spent an hour smoothing the surface with a stone and drill grinder. Eggs then had a metalic taste until I learned from the Internet how to season it. No instructions for use or care came with this pan. I since bought a like pan that has a smooth, milled surface and after I seasoned it, I made the best tasting eggs I have had since I was a kid. I am giving away this pan to Purple Hearts Vets, Good Will, or the like. All this is just the subjective opinion of one 72-year-old man from Rhode Island now living in Maryland. My mom had a cast iron pan and as a kid, I cooked delicious pan toast - aka 'Texas' toast but using regular...

Questionable utility of use
Flat Cast Iron Frying Pan / Pancake Griddle / SkilletNo instructions for use or care. Was not preseasoned My own seasoning did little to remedy the problem of the cooked product sticking like glue to the pan surface. May be okay for bacon, but definitely not for cooking eggs or pancakes unless you don't mind having to spend 5 minutes scouring of the remainder off the cooked product adhered to the surface of the pan.

Earth Pan Plus Nonstick SandFlow Skillet, Bronze, 8"

6 months and I still love it. 12 months, I love it less.
Since I saw so many mixed reviews, I waited 6 months before reviewing my 8" fry pan. This pan is so beautiful it hangs on the pot rack with my (unused) copper ware. I use it 4-5 times a week to cook for 2 people. It is great for poached eggs and omlets, frying sausage or veggie burgers, scrambles eggs stuck slightly. I do not use spray oil, just a drop or 2 of olive oil, spread on pan with a silicone or nylon spatula. I do use a low to medium heat and hand wash. I would consider getting the whole set but I would really like larger pots and fry pans...my gas burners are large. I will get more ceramic/silica lined pans to replace the old non-stick ones for health reasons. This Earthpan worked great for me. Love it!
UPDATE after 7 months of use: My microwave oven died a month ago. I have been using this 8" pan as my "go-to" pan. It can get used up to 5 times a day. Sometimes I just wipe it out and cook the next item. As stated before, I usually use 1-2 drops of olive oil spread...

Chipped coating
I chose this because it was so highly rated by both Consumer Reports and Amazon's customers. I have had the set of cookware less than 6 months and followed all directions for care. It has begun to chip around the top edges of each of my pans and skillet. Very disappointed because this is the first total set of cookware I have bought in all my years of marriage. Earth Pan II Nonstick SandFlow Cookware Set, 10-Piece, Bronze

Don't bother
I bought this pan with great hopes. It started flaking within two weeks. Thanks to Amazon, I could return it, but I would NOT recommend this pan.

Ceramic Marble Coated Cast Aluminium Non Stick Fry Pan 30cm(12 inches)

No Lead Found!
I loved this pan. When I went back to Amazon to buy another one, I saw a review by someone stating there was a warning about Phthalates AND Lead. That did not make much sense to me knowing it was made in Korea where people have gotten highly educated about and sensitive to toxins. But, I wasn't going to risk my family's health. Too bad, I thought, as it really is one of the best pans I have ever used. Then, I found and bought a set of Instant Lead Tests (by Lead Check) sold by Amazon and tested the pan I had at home. The result: NO LEAD. As to Phthalates (DEHP), I don't know how to test for it, but I don't see how DEHP, a primary plasticizer for PVC, would be on the cooking surface meant for high temperature operation. Maybe the handle tested positive for it? Given the type of hard material used for the handle, I don't think it is a high risk area, if any. So, guess what, I am buying another ceramic marble coated pan!

Best Fry Non-Stick Pan I've Owned
I'm always being distracted by numerous things when I cook and as a result have walked away after or before cooking with flame still burning under the pan, ruining every pan I've ever used. This last time,.. after preparing breakfast, I emptied my bacon & eggs from this Ceramic Marble coated pan, heard the phone ring in my computer room where I took my breakfast to eat, and answer the phone. After finishing my breakfast and phone call,(a good 25 minutes), there was a burning smell. I ran back through the smoke filled house to remove the pan from the stove. I thought,..Oh No!,..another new pan ruined!
After abusing the pan on medium high (3/4) for at least 25 minutes,..I was shocked to see it clean up so easily with just a damp paper towel, and even though there was an 8" area in the center of the pan that was slightly darker than the rest,..it STILL retains it's excellent non-stick properties.

You could spend a whole lot more and still not get something comparable...

Great Pan!
I have used this pan for a couple of months now and decided to order 2 more, smaller one for myself and 1 for my sister. Will probably purchase more for my family!
They feel solid, and are exactly as described.
I still find that I need to use a little oil or pam spray, but that is fine. These are good quality pans at a great price

ExcelSteel 2 Quart stainless whistling teakettle

Dangerous
I buy from Amazon frequently but have never posted a review before. In this case, I feel compelled to alert other buyers to my experience with the ExcelSteel 2 Quart stainless whistling teakettle. In use for less than a month, the handle failed when I lifted up the fully heated/boiled kettle today. Thankfully, it broke as soon as I lifted it from the cooktop. Consequently the water spilled onto the stove rather than all over me. That said, had it failed just moments later, I am convinced that I would be suffering from third degree burns right now and likely on my way to the hospital. This could have been disastrous...though it wasn't, thank goodness, my concern is that this could happen to someone else. In such case, they may not be as lucky. Bottom line, based on my experience, this item is flawed and potentially extremely dangerous. I have alerted Amazon to the problem directly.

VERY DANGEROUS TEA POT!!!!!!!****** ALERT*****
My Daughter bought this Excel TeaPot for me & my husband and one also for herself on Amazon. My husband last week received third degree burns from this TeaPot.
This TeaPot is very dangerous!!! The handle has a very small screw that attaches to the back part of the TeaPot. And the front of the Handle has only a slide. So if the small screw fails the handle has no safty net and disengages immediately!. My husband received very bad burns on his wrist. What is a child was near by??? Or this went all down his legs?? Amazon should stop all sales of this Immediatly!!!! Please let me know of any similar cases. Take photos document the injurys and the TeaPot.

pretty heavy for the price
I got this to replace a similar one I had but the old one had a very thin bottom about the same price when I got this one I was surprised how heavy it is so its good for the price I paid works well so far I read a review about the screw and yes there is only one screw holding the handle but that happens to some pots too where the screw comes loose I inspect and tighten as needed just normal wear and tear it feels tight and sturdy to me. The lid doesn't come up easy I have to really tug and when it boils it doesn't let out steam and handle doesn't get hot. It arrived quickly and I like it so far.

Kitchen Supply 8089 White Porcelain Cheese Markers with Pen, Set/6

Just doesn't work like it's suppose to
Once the labels are written on the ink does not show up very well (beads up) and takes forever to dry (I've given up every time I've tried to use them). It's a nice idea, and the material quality is good, but it doesn't work like it's suppose to.

Too Heavy
These cheese markers are too heavy and the point that goes into the cheese is too wide. They work ok if you have a very large chunk of soft cheese, but harder cheeses just crumble when you attempt to use these. I do not recommend.

Great idea!
The pen could be better (dries out easily) but overall, these are the cutest ones I found and I love them.

Woll Diamond Plus Saute Pan with Lid, 11-Inch

Fantastic pan - worth the money
I purchased this in the UK over 4 years ago and saw the previous reviews about longevity. I use it on a daily basis for both frying foods and casseroles. The ability to take the handle off means that I no longer have to use a casserole dish. My husband has consistently mistreated it and the non stick coating is as good as when I got it.

I know it is expensive but I wouldn't buy any other frying pan. This is the only place I have found to buy it in the USA - if you get one, you son't regret it

the best cookware I've ever had
I've been using the Woll diamond Saute Pan for about 2 months, love it! don't know how long the nonstick coating will last, but so far so good, I just bought two more for my friends!

Top-notch German quality
Top-notch German quality. I am looking forward to many wonderful Paellas I'll create in this wonderfully well-made sauce pan. They want me to add more words ;-(
